Viritech launches its 60KW VPT60N Ready To Run Vehicle Powertrain. Viritech receives award to productionise radical DC-DC Converter for fuel cell vehicles (FCEVs).

Viritech is to lead a major project to develop and build a 40-tonne demonstration HGV. The £3 million project (50% funded by the Advanced Propulsion Centre) will showcase Viritech’s powertrain technology which radically improves the efficiency of hydrogen fuel cell trucks.

Viritech invited to speak about its exciting fuel cell HGV programme, which will result in a demonstrator vehicle in late 2024. This will be the first zero-emission truck to approach weight parity with a diesel equivalent.

Ford works with Viritech to develop fuel cell Transit

• Viritech will participate in the development of Carbon ThreeSixty’s Hi-DEN (high density energy network) system, which enables huge increases in storage capacity of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs).

• Viritech will provide the route to market for this revolutionary technology.
