Viritech wins award at Hydrogen Transport Dialogue event in Germany
Viritech one of 10 winners at Pitching Event
Viritech goes forward to flagship Sustainability 22 event
Award shows further German interest in Viritech fuel cell technology
Viritech was delighted to be selected as one of 10 winners (from over 55 companies and projects) at the European Hydrogen Transport Dialogue event, hosted in Nuremberg.
The event was sponsored by the State of Bavaria, and follows hot on the heels of Viritech’s invitation by the State of Baden-Wuerttemburg to their biggest Start-Up event in Stuttgart last month. That means Viritech is getting attention from both of Germany’s leading high-technology regions.
The event was organised in association with Hydrogen Europe, which promotes hydrogen as an enabler of a zero-emission society. With more than 400+ members, including 25+ EU regions and 30+ national associations, it is the united voice of the European hydrogen industry.
Viritech’s pitch explained how its technology enables a fuel cell powertrain for commercial vehicles which has no weight penalty compared to an equivalent diesel vehicle. The Viritech-enabled powertrain is also the most environmentally-friendly fuel-cell solution, as it radically reduces the amount of critical minerals required.
Viritech will now go forward to the finals, to be held in Essen, Germany on 23 November.
Timothy Lyons, CEO of Viritech said,” We are delighted to have taken our message to a receptive German audience for the second time in a month. We believe we can both significantly strengthen the UK’s zero-emission vehicles sector, and fulfil our vision of Sustainable Transportation, Without Compromise.
